VBS 2022: Talking with God in the Wilderness

VBS will be held on July 11 to July 15, 10 -12noon.

What will we be doing in VBS?

Have you ever prayed with your kids? Yes? No? Hey, a lot of people feel like praying, especially out loud, is really hard! So, this VBS, we are going to explore different ways to pray-- mostly using different types of art mediums and learning about four different kinds of prayers. We will learn the five finger prayer, and the prayers "Help!", "Thanks!", and "Wow!" We'll use fingerpaints, chalk, crayons, markers, and paints and canvas-- all while figuring out the not actually so tricky answer to this question-- How do we talk to God, especially in the wilderness that our world can be?? It's going to be fun, messy, and full of faith practices that your kids can bring home and hey-- maybe they'll teach YOU!
